Nuclear Energy
Protesting uranium mining Debating the Indo-US deal Koodankulam Public Hearing
Nuclear Energy remains a major focus of government spending on the development of electric capacity to the exclusion of other sources. This has major implications for public health, especially because of the potential for catastrophic accidents, and affordability, because of the high costs of producing electricity at nuclear reactors and of dealing with the radioactive spent fuel.
